Banff RFC host Aberdeen Wanderers RFC at Duff House on Saturday 13th January at 14.00 (clubhouse open from 13.00, all welcome!) for Banff’s local derby in the Caledonian League One contest.
Having played Wanderers away earlier in the season and subject to a 52-7 defeat the Banff side are keen to work on this loss and deliver a more favourable result on Saturday.
Banff go into the second half of the season with only one win of the season but despite the results not going positively the team are developing and progressing together and working on areas to improve their game.
Both Banff teams (Men’s and Ladies) are focussed on developing rugby in the local area with open training sessions available to new and old players contact us through Facebook for further details. Training continues on Wednesdays at Macduff Sports Centre at 1930 for all of those interested in starting a new sport in the new year.
Also this weekend Banff Rugby Mini and Micro Section are back training at Duff house. Training will restart Sat 13th Jan. All age groups will only train for 11-12noon until the mid-term holiday in Feb. Please check their facebook before setting off for training in case we have to cancel due to bad or very cold weather.
